Job summary

Domayne, Australia’s leading lifestyle retailer, invites an experienced Visual Merchandiser to lead compelling showroom displays for the Furniture and Bedding team. Based in a store location, the role may involve travel to support merchandising activities across other sites.

You will design and execute a creative visual merchandising strategy, monitoring brand standards and providing recommendations to franchisees.

• Monitor and provide recommendations to Proprietors on brand standards.

Job description

As Australia's largest retailer of lifestyle products, with nearly 200 stores across Australia, we have been a part of almost every Australian's shopping experience.

Domayne is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Visual Merchandiser to join the dedicated Furniture and Bedding team based in Fyswich. This store-based role will focus on creating inspiring showroom displays and may occasionally require travel to support merchandising activities across other store locations.

Reporting directly to the National Visual Merchandiser, you play will an important role in designing and executing a creative visual merchandising strategy. You will monitor, evaluate and provide recommendations to the Domayne franchises by creating appealing visual displays, style and presentation to ensure they are aligned with our brand.

Your responsibilities:

• Monitoring and providing recommendations to Proprietors on the brand standards including:
• The look and appeal of the Domayne franchises
• Aligning displays with the current promotions and catalogues
• Making recommendations to Proprietors on:
• Creating innovative and attractive displays
• Implementing creative strategies

About You:

• Good time management and organisation skills
• High attention to detail
• A passion for interiors, homewares and colour along with a natural flair for creativity
• An understanding of Visual Merchandising disciplines and the relation to retail is desirable
• Tertiary qualifications and or experience in visual merchandising is advantageous
• The ability to work in a manual labour environment
• The ability to be flexible working autonomously and within a team
• Ability to do some small travel
