Job summary

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.
• Capacity to design and deliver an inclusive primary visual arts curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of curriculum programs within the school.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school activities.
• Support staff with high quality instruction and data-informed practice.
• Engage in professional learning and reflect on practice to improve teaching quality.
