Job summary

Longwarry Primary School is seeking an experienced classroom teacher to plan, deliver and assess learning programs that drive student achievement and wellbeing. You will work within a professional learning community to implement explicit teaching practices and respond to diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform practice.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
• Ability to design an inclusive primary visual arts curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver teaching programs to achieve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff to implement school priorities and policies.
