Job summary

Waverley College seeks a Visual Arts Teacher for Stages 4-6 on a fixed-term basis for 2027. The role is three days per week (Mon, Tue and Fri) with a possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• Have experience teaching Visual Arts Stages 4, 5 and 6.
• HSC marking experience is desirable.
• Be a collegial and collaborative contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes.
• Be confident with integrating technology in teaching and learning experiences.
• Be confident in employing a data-informed approach to differentiating the curriculum to cater to all types of learners.
• Be confident in utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress.
• Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes.
• Have excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing.

Waverley College is seeking applications for a Visual Arts Teacher to join our team for 2027. This is a fixed-term position for three days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), with the possibility of extension.
