The Visiting Specialist Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating visiting specialist clinics to ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care. The role acts as a key liaison between patients, visiting specialists, healthcare providers, and internal teams to support positive health outcomes and efficient service delivery.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with Aboriginal people and communities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
An understanding of Aboriginal cultures, communities, and health issues.
A professional approach with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Current National Police Check.
Current NSW Driver Licence.
Previous experience in a healthcare, administration or coordination role.
Experience coordinating specialist clinics, patient appointments, or referral pathways.
Knowledge of Medicare processes and healthcare funding programs.
Understanding of primary health care services and patient management systems.
Local knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal communities within the Tamworth region.
Willingness to undertake further professional development and training.
