Findex is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the Virtual Operations A&T Pool as Assistant Manager. In this role you'll coordinate compliance work across onshore and offshore teams, review technical work, and be the go-to person when problems arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting or compliance experience.
• Experience coordinating work across virtual or multi-site teams.
• Knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, workpapers, tax adjustments and reconciliations.
• Excellent communicator with ability to give structured, actionable feedback to staff at all levels.
• CA qualification or working towards completion.

Responsibilities

• Workflow coordination: Allocate and track compliance work across onshore and offshore teams to hit deadlines.
• Quality & review: First-level review of accountants’ work with clear, constructive feedback.
• Team collaboration: Bridge virtual and office teams, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Coaching & training: Mentor accountants and support onboarding and capability uplift.
• Technical support: Resolve tax adjustments, reconciliations, and ledger queries, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Stakeholder management: Maintain relationships with multiple offices and meet service delivery expectations.
