Job summary

Mollydooker Wines in McLaren Vale, SA, is seeking a Vintage Assistant Winemaker for the 2027 vintage. This temporary full-time role offers hands-on experience in a family-owned winery renowned for premium wines and a warm, coastal climate.

You will oversee vintage winemaking from fruit intake to fermentation, prepare cellar notes, conduct wine analyses, and work across winery operations. A degree in Oenology, at least one vintage, and familiarity with Vintrace are preferred; weekends and shift

Qualifications

• At least one vintage experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Oenology with strong academic record.
• Familiarity with VinTrace winery software or similar.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing vintage winemaking operations from fruit intake to fermentation.
• Assisting in development of daily work plans and preparation of cellar notes.
• Conducting wine analyses and interpreting results to maintain high standards.
• Active involvement in cellar tasks as required.
