Job summary

Brown Family Wine Group is seeking an enthusiastic vineyard worker to join our North West Victoria operations. You will be involved in hands-on field tasks across a dynamic seasonal cycle, supporting crop estimation, data recording, and general vineyard duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in vineyard, agriculture or horticulture is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately in outdoor conditions.
• Strong reliability and enthusiasm, with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crop estimation activities including shoots and bunch counts.
• Record vineyard data accurately to support seasonal planning.
• Support general vineyard tasks and maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Adapt to varying weather and workdays as part of a vineyard team.

About the Vineyard

Located in the Swan Hill region of North West Victoria, this large scale vineyard is recognised as producing a range of premium quality and non-mainstream wine-grapes including Cienna, Tarrango, Crouchen and Orange Muscat.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crop estimation activities, including shoot counting, bunch counting and crop sampling.
• Collect and record vineyard data accurately to support seasonal planning.
• Assist with general vineyard tasks as required throughout the season.
• Work safely and contribute to maintaining a productive vineyard environment.
• Support the vineyard team's commitment to quality and sustainable vineyard practices

About You

• Enjoy working outdoors and being active throughout the day.
• Have a keen eye for detail and can follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and able to work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and varying weather conditions.
• Previous vineyard, agricultural or horticultural experience is beneficial but not essential
