  • Join a growing organisation where internal development and career progression are genuinely supported

Are you a people-focused leader who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and creating a community where residents feel genuinely at home?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Village Manager to join Eureka Villages in Bundaberg, following the internal promotion of our current team member reflecting our commitment to developing our people and creating opportunities to grow within Eureka.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the village, build strong relationships with residents and ensure the community remains safe, welcoming and well managed.

Why Eureka?

Eureka Villages is one of Australia’s leading providers of affordable community living. We create welcoming communities where residents can feel at home, connected and supported.

Our values guide how we work every day. We Put People First, Embrace the Challenge, Commit and Follow-Up, Act with Purpose and Build Belonging.

What’s the role?

As Village Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the village and be a visible, approachable presence for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive relationships with residents and creating a welcoming, connected village community
  • Coordinating day-to-day village operations, administration and resident enquiries
  • Managing tenancies, including applications, agreements, renewals, entry and exit processes and associated documentation
  • Supporting occupancy and helping prospective residents through the enquiry and application process
  • Coordinating contractors, maintenance and presentation of the village
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring village operations meet relevant safety, compliance and organisational requirements
  • Working closely with your Regional Manager and broader Eureka team to address issues and continuously improve the resident experience
What’s in it for you?

You’ll enjoy:

  • $65,000 per annum + super + up to 15% Village Manager Incentive
  • Permanent part-time position offering 34 hours per week
  • A hands-on leadership role where you can make a visible difference within the community
  • Support from an experienced Regional Manager and broader national team
  • Opportunities for learning, development and future career progression as Eureka continues to grow
  • The opportunity to join an organisation focused on creating communities where people genuinely belong
What’s it like working for Eureka?

No two days as a Village Manager are quite the same. You might start your morning catching up with residents, spend part of the day coordinating maintenance or working through tenancy administration, and finish by helping a prospective resident understand whether the village could be the right home for them.

You’ll have autonomy over the day-to-day operation of the village while still having the support of your Regional Manager and colleagues across Eureka.

Most importantly, you’ll become an important part of the community and help create an environment where residents feel respected, connected and at home.

Is this role right for you?

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in village, property, accommodation, community, hospitality or a similarly hands-on operational environment
  • Are confident managing administration, competing priorities and day-to-day operational issues
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Are comfortable working autonomously while knowing when to seek support
  • Bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and are willing to get involved wherever needed
  • Have good computer skills and confidence learning systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Understand the importance of safety, compliance, confidentiality and treating residents with respect

Previous experience in retirement living or village management would be valuable, but we’re equally interested in people with strong transferable experience and the right approach to resident service and community leadership.
