Job summary

Levande is hiring a Maintenance Officer for Maybrook Manor in Cromer, NSW. The role offers permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with compensation up to $36.95 per hour.

You will manage a varied maintenance workload, perform inspections, and coordinate contractors to keep the village safe and comfortable. You will work independently with support from management, while staying connected with residents and the broader Levande team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in general building, property or facilities maintenance.
• Sound practical judgement and commitment to safety.
• Ability to organise workload and adapt to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs across village buildings, facilities and common areas.
• Perform routine inspections and address safety concerns.
• Check hot-water and air-conditioning systems.
• Coordinate licensed contractors for work requiring trades.
• Record and track maintenance work and preventative tasks.
• Monitor tools, equipment and supplies.
• Support waste management and outdoor upkeep.
• Inform residents and provide friendly service.
• Drive village bus for outings when required.
