Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a reliable Maintenance Officer for Santa Monica Village, Manly Vale. This part‑time role (24 hours per fortnight) focuses on basic repairs, grounds maintenance and safety compliance to support our retirement living community.

You will work with minimal supervision, perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and ensure the property, assets and gardens are well maintained for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance skills across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs.
• Gardening and grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning and lawn care.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance repairs to buildings and assets.
• Undertake preventative and reactive maintenance within the designated area.
• Ensure work Health and Safety policies are followed.
