Job summary

Chefs On The Run Australia seeks a State Manager in Melbourne to lead the operations team, oversee recruitment, interviewing and placement of casual F&B personnel across hospitality sectors.

You will manage client relationships, market services, and ensure payroll and invoicing accuracy while maintaining compliance and safety standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, drive to expand clients, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manager with strong people skills and lead-by-example approach.
• Drive to significantly increase the number of clients using the company’s services.
• Solid understanding of hospitality sectors including cooking, kitchens and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 3-person Operations team and collaborate with Finance and General Manager.
• Recruit, manage and provide feedback to casual F&B personnel.
• Develop relationships with clients across Hospitality, Catering, Aged Care, Health Care, Child Care and Mining sectors.
