Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s Infrastructure and Utilities Investment Banking team in Sydney seeks a Vice President specializing in renewables and power.

You will execute strategies, develop client relationships, and work alongside senior bankers to deliver advisory solutions across M&A, equity, and debt capital markets. You will collaborate with global teams on cross-border deals, providing market insights and developing opportunities in the renewables sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in investment banking or investment management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or adjacent disciplines (Law, Engineering / STEM).
• Proven transaction experience with renewables, power, infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior bankers to originate, structure, and execute advisory transactions across M&A, equity, and debt with a renewables/power focus.
• Act as day-to-day client contact for Australian renewables/power deals and global cross-border transactions.
• Develop marketing materials to maximize client engagement and support transaction execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless delivery of renewables/power transactions.
• Advise clients on capital raising and instruments (equity, bonds, lending, derivatives) for renewables/power.
• Provide market insights and strategic observations on renewables and power trends.
