J.P. Morgan in Sydney seeks a Vice President in Investment Banking covering General Industries and Financial Sponsors Group clients. You will support senior bankers, own work streams, and progressively develop leadership while contributing to a range of banking products.

You will work with teams across GI and FSG, handling deal execution and client coverage for Australian engagements, with opportunities to participate in cross-border transactions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in front office of a top-tier Investment Bank, with GI/FSG exposure.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with senior professionals.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently and with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in execution of M&A, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and capital raises for GI and FSG.
• Serve as a key client contact on day-to-day deal matters in Australia and cross-border work.
• Coordinate and review work of Associates and Analysts to progress marketing and execution.
• Prepare and refine marketing materials, including financial models and presentations.
• Collaborate with lawyers, accountants, and consultants on transactions.
• Support client negotiations, Q&A, and management interviews with senior bankers.
• Contribute to events and pitches to identify new business opportunities.
• Build knowledge of global and Australian GI/FSG sectors with JPMorganChase colleagues.
• Support a dynamic deal flow and uphold JPMorganChase values.
