Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Sydney is seeking a skilled investment banking professional to support execution of M&A and strategic advisory across infrastructure, power and utilities. You will lead workstreams, coach analysts and contribute to client pitches in a dynamic, global bank.

The role requires 3+ years in investment banking or related corporate finance within infrastructure or utilities, strong financial modelling and clear communication with senior partners.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities including valuations and investment analysis.
• Ability to translate technical outputs into clear strategic insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly with senior stakeholders.
• Interest in infrastructure themes, energy transition and emerging sector trends.
• Motivated, self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting execution of investment banking transactions (including M&A and strategic advisory) across infrastructure, power, transport, data centres & utilities
• Managing and mentoring Analysts, leading workstreams and ensuring high-quality outputs across analysis, presentations and client deliverables
• Supporting origination activities by identifying client opportunities, contributing to pitch development and presenting alongside senior team members
• Overseeing valuation analysis, financial modelling, due diligence processes and transaction execution workstreams
• Over time, build sector competence in a variety of I/U sub-sectors including airports, ports, regulated utilities, toll roads, power generation, digital infrastructure (data centres, fibre) and core+ infrastructure (logistics, waste management etc.)
