Job summary

Concord Veterinary Hospital in Sydney’s Inner West is seeking a dedicated veterinary nurse to join a privately owned, non-corporate team. You’ll rotate through surgery, hospital duties, and our shelter work, handling admissions and discharges, anaesthesia, catheters, blood tests, medications, dentals, and caring for hospitalised patients while talking with clients about their animals.

Full-time is preferred, with three days a week or more acceptable.

Qualifications

• Solid work ethic and genuine care for animals.
• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing is desirable but not essential.
• Open to those still completing their qualification; apply anyway.

Responsibilities

• Admissions and discharges; anesthesia; catheters; bloods; medications; dentals; nursing hospitalised patients.
• Liaise with clients about their animals.
