The University of Sydney's UVTHS Camperdown campus seeks a qualified Veterinary Nurse for the Small Animal Surgery service. This full-time continuing role supports clinical teaching and provides high-level nursing care to surgical patients.

You will assist clinicians and veterinary interns with treatments, prepare procedures, maintain equipment, and contribute to student learning within a multi-discipline specialist hospital.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse with Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a veterinary specialist hospital environment preferred.
  • Ability to support clinical teaching and nursing students.
  • Proficient with anaesthesia, radiography, and drug dispensing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
