Sydney Animal Hospitals – Baulkham Hills NSW
Love nursing? Love surgery? Ready for a role where you can actually use your skills?
We're looking for an experienced, passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team at Sydney Animal Hospitals Baulkham Hills!
If you're looking for a hospital where you're encouraged to get hands‑on, challenge yourself, keep learning and have a laugh along the way, we might just be your perfect match.
Our purpose-built hospital is only two years young and already thriving! With a state‑of‑the‑art surgical suite, an onsite rehabilitation centre, a fantastic client base and a team that genuinely enjoys working together, we've created a workplace where both our patients and our people can thrive.
And the best part? Our nurses actually get to nurse!
We believe great nurses deserve the opportunity to use the skills they've worked so hard to develop.
Here's what makes us a little different:
We work hard, support each other and believe there should always be room for a bit of fun along the way!
Forget being stuck on the sidelines. Our nurses play an active role in patient care, and we encourage you to use your skills to their fullest potential.
Depending on the day, you could be:
We want you to finish your day feeling like you've made a difference, used your skills and maybe even learnt something new!
We're looking for someone who is confident in their nursing abilities, passionate about patient care and brings positive energy to the team.
Ideally, you'll have:
You don't need to know everything, but we do want someone who's excited to keep developing their skills and isn't afraid to get involved.
We don't want our nurses to feel like they've reached a ceiling in their careers.
Whether you're passionate about anaesthesia, surgical nursing, rehabilitation or developing a new special interest, we want to help you get there.
We know there's more to a great job than just the work itself.
Here's what else you can look forward to:
This is a full‑time role with a shared roster across seven days, only 1 weekend a month. We are open to 4 x 10‑hour or 5 x 8‑hour shifts.
We understand that life exists outside the hospital, and while veterinary medicine doesn't always run to schedule and we believe your time and commitment should be valued and appropriately rewarded, so generous renumeration is paid for those unexpected late finishes.
Sound like your kind of team?
We're proud of the culture we've built and want to find someone who will genuinely enjoy being part of it.
Skills and experience are important, but finding the right team fit matters just as much to us.
Our recruitment process includes a paid trial shift, giving you the chance to meet the team, experience the hospital and make sure we're the right fit for you, too.
