Penrith Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. We are a busy practice with a dedicated nursing team and veterinarians, offering ongoing training and a supportive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and at least 2 years of clinical experience, be a team player, and deliver excellent client service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Animal care, handling and hospital treatments.

• General nursing, blood collection and laboratory sample processing.
• Reception duties and delivering excellent care to patients and owners.

Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Permanent Full-time or Part-time Position Available

Our Practice:

For over 50 years, Penrith Veterinary Hospital has been caring for Penrith’s pets and their owners. Our experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing team are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, comprehensive, and affordable environment. With a team of 9 experienced veterinarians supported by almost 20 veterinary nurses, no two days are the same in our busy and dynamic hospital.

We are currently seeking a passionate and outgoing veterinary nurse to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis (we are flexible for the right candidate).

About the role:

• Full-time position – 5x weekday shifts, with 8am and 12pm starts, rotating weekend shifts
• Part-time position – at least 3-4x weekday shifts, with 8am and 12pm starts, rotating weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Animal care, handling, and hospital treatments.
• Maintaining hospital hygiene and cleanliness of surgical areas and equipment.
