Job summary

Gladstone Veterinary Clinic in Gladstone, Queensland, seeks a passionate All-Rounder Vet Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. We offer a 9-day fortnight, hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and no weekend work.

You will handle animal care, anaesthetic monitoring, reception duties, and post-operative patient care, contributing to a supportive, professional environment with emphasis on animal welfare.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in veterinary nursing (monitoring patients and anaesthetics is essential).
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care Certificate (II or III) is highly ideal, but qualifications are not essential if you have the right hands-on experience.
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience monitoring patients and anaesthetics
• Previous reception experience will be beneficial
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• An enthusiastic, friendly, caring, and hardworking attitude with a genuinely positive outlook.
