Coomera Springs Veterinary Surgery on the northern Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. You will work with veterinarians and nursing staff across surgery, hospital, reception and patient care in a fast-paced, education-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Coomera Springs Veterinary Surgery is a well-established veterinary clinic on the northern end of the Gold Coast. We offer a full suite of services and are one of only a few clinics in Southeast QLD to boast a truly diverse client base including but not limited to cats, dogs, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, birds and reptiles. Our goal is to provide a high standard of individualised and compassionate care to all of our patients in an environment that is fast paced and focused on continuing education. The Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team on a part-time basis.

In this role, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team across a variety of areas including surgery, hospital, reception and patient care. With a rotating roster and varied caseload, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and clients.

Roster

• Rotating Saturday shifts
• No Sundays
• No public holidays

About You

We're seeking a nurse who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.

You will have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role (3 + years ideally!)
• Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and patient care.
• Experience assisting with complex surgeries, including orthopaedic procedures and caesareans (highly regarded but not essential).
• The ability to remain organised and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
