Job summary

Greencross Livingstone Road Petersham is seeking a part-time Client Care Coordinator/Receptionist to join our caring inner-west clinic. You’ll be the friendly face greeting clients, manage bookings, answer calls, and support the veterinary team.

This role suits someone who thrives in a busy front desk environment, values outstanding client service, and loves animals. 2–3 days per week, approx 14–21 hours, with a supportive team and connection to a national veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist or client service experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience using veterinary practice management software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and patients to create a welcoming clinic experience.
• Managing appointments, bookings, and daily schedules.
• Answering phones and responding to client enquiries.
• Coordinating admissions, discharges, and client communications.
• Processing payments and managing accounts.
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
• Supporting veterinarians and nurses through appointment coordination.
• Assisting with administrative tasks and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Providing compassionate support to clients during both happy and challenging moments.
• Helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of reception.
