Job summary

Demi International Training School – Toowoomba QLD is seeking a casual VET Trainer and Assessor for Cert III Barbering, to join our Toowoomba campus team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging classroom sessions, assess student work, and participate in validation activities to ensure industry standards are met.

You will work with motivated students and an experienced staff, enjoying a supportive work environment, flexible casual hours, and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
• Relevant industry qualifications and experience in Barbering.
• Experience with online delivery and assessment is highly regarded.
• Ability to meet KPIs regarding assessment turnaround times.

We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills to join us with casual offerings available. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering class-based training sessions at our nominated campuses.
• Conducting assessment marking and ensuring timely turnaround to support students.
• Participating in validation and development activities to maintain compliance and industry standards.
• Ensuring our assessment products are of the highest quality and relevance.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for Certificate III Barbering students - Face to Face and Apprentice Delivery available
• Assessment and Feedback: Complete assessment marking promptly and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Compliance and Development: Participate in validation and development activities to ensure our training materials meet compliance and industry standards.
• Student Support: Be an approachable and supportive mentor to help students achieve their qualifications.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
