John Paul College in Daisy Hill, Logan, seeks a part-time VET Learning and Administrative Assistant to support students in VET programs and assist the VET team with daily administration.

Working 3–4 days per week during term-time, 8:00 am–4:15 pm, you will help prepare materials, maintain records, liaise with teachers, and contribute to a positive, respectful learning environment on the college's 33-hectare campus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in administrative, coordination or support roles.
• Experience keeping confidential records and following procedures.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Confidence with digital systems and willingness to learn new platforms.
• Current First Aid certificate and Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Provide tailored classroom support to VET students and guide their educational pathways.
• Support department administration including records, materials and communication with the Head of VET and the Head of Careers and Pathways.
• Support external RTO administrative processes and assist the Head of VET with quality assurance.
• Work with teachers to identify and respond to individual learning needs.
• Help prepare and deliver instructional materials and activities.
• Keep accurate, confidential records of student attendance, performance and achievement.
