Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group is seeking a warm and reliable Permanent Float Educator for Durack Heights. You’ll support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing across all age groups within a collaborative team, delivering safe, play‑based learning environments.

This role requires a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, completion of National Child Safety Training, and current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in ECEC required.
• National Child Safety Training completed.
• Able to support across multiple age groups.
• First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development across all rooms and age groups.
• Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the centre.
• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice.
• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding.
