Job summary

Journey Early Learning is seeking a warm, reliable Permanent Float Educator to join the Durack Heights team. This role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, and focuses on supporting children's development, wellbeing, and learning across all age groups.

You’ll collaborate with a supportive team to deliver safe, engaging, play‑based learning in line with the EYLF, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to observations and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Must have completed National Child Safety Training.
• Confident supporting children across multiple age groups.
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development across all rooms and age groups
• Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the centre
• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice
• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
