Job summary

Journey Early Learning Careers – Durack NT is seeking a warm, reliable Early Childhood Educator to join the Durack Heights team as a Permanent Float Educator. You’ll support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing across all age groups in a collaborative centre environment.

Role focuses on play-based learning aligned with EYLF, building strong relationships with children, families, and staff, and contributing to observations and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• National Child Safety Training completed.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development across all rooms and age groups.
• Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the centre.
• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to observations, documentation and reflective practice.
• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding.
