Job summary

Marriner Group is seeking a Venue Presentation Leading Hand in Melbourne’s CBD to supervise cleaning teams and ensure premier venue presentation across multiple iconic venues. You will coordinate tasks, mentor staff, and uphold strict cleanliness and safety standards.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, daily operations, and collaboration with the Venue Presentation Manager to meet high standards and timelines, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays where required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or venue presentation experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet timeframes.
• Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
• First Aid qualifications and WHS experience are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and allocating tasks to Venue Presentation team members.
• Leading by example and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitoring work quality and ensuring efficient, safe cleaning activities.
• Supporting training and development of team members.
• Assisting with stock control, equipment monitoring and venue needs.
• Communicating with Venue Presentation Manager regarding staffing and operations.
• Promoting safe work practices and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Problem solving and responding to operational issues as they arise.
