Maitland Town Hall is seeking a Part-time Town Hall Venue Operations Officer to support bookings and day-to-day operations. The role involves coordinating venue bookings, responding to enquiries and maintaining records while ensuring a smooth experience for hirers and the public.
Working with a diverse team, you will manage priorities in a fast-paced setting and assist with supervision during shifts on a 7-day roster, 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate in the provided range.

Working closely with venue hirers, community groups, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will be a key point of contact for customers from their initial enquiry about booking Maitland Town Hall through to event/function delivery.

To be successful within this role, you will have experience in operating in a function or event space. Ideally you will possess a Certificate IV qualification in Events Management, Business Administration, Live Production & Technical Theatre, Arts or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
This is a permanent part-time role, working 30-hours per week, across a seven-day rotating roster (Monday - Sunday). This position attracts an hourly pay rate of $44.27 - $49.14 + 12% super + penalty rates for shifts worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
