Job summary

Accor is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Outlet Supervisor in Perth. You will lead a dynamic team, ensure responsible service of alcohol, and maintain service standards across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure responsible service of alcohol procedures are followed at all times.
• Train and monitor Food & Beverage team and maintain service standards.
• Manage team members in daily outlet operations and provide support.
• Ensure staff have strong wine knowledge and service sequences are followed.
• Maintain opening/closing procedures and supervise outlet operations.
• Oversee POS, till accuracy and cash handling, ensure security.
• Keep outlet clean, maintain equipment and stock levels.
• Understand licensing and liquor laws; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain beverage stock and perform monthly stocktakes with reports.
• Develop training plans and conduct on/off-job training for staff.
• Attend relevant meetings and monitor manpower, payroll, and costs.
• Ensure professional appearance and coach teams; adapt to changes.
• Deliver accurate reports and monitor occupancy for smooth operations.

Job Description

• To ensure that all responsible service of alcohol procedures is practiced at all times
• Trains and monitors Food & Beverage Team and ensures service standards are met
• Manages all Team Members in all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet, providing the necessary assistance where required
• Ensure Team Members have strong product knowledge of all wine styles on the outlet wine list
• Ensures that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all times
• Ensures that all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard and supervises outlet
• Maintains efficient operating procedures for the outlet’s point of sale cashiering computer system, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and the department cash float
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials; and ensure security of outlet
• Have an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act.
• Promptly reports any maintenance work required to the maintenance department
• Maintains all outlet stock levels
• Perform monthly stocktakes on all beverage stock and complete timely reporting of stocktake findings
• Develops training plans and conducts on and off the job training sessions for all outlet Team Members
• Attends all scheduled food and beverage and other relevant meetings when required
• Monitors outlets manpower, payroll budget, control costs and maximise profitability
• Take extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance and monitors service personnel’s appearance and grooming
• Other duties as may be prescribed from time to time due to operational needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience of incremental responsibility within a hotel environment.
• Proven experience in similar position within a hotelenvironment advantageous
• Experience supervising, training and motivating staff
• Experience creating rosters and adhering to wage control
