Job summary

NOVOTEL Perth, part of the Accor network, is hiring a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, and storage areas to the required standards.

You will ensure replenishment of guest supplies, report lost property, handle guest laundry per hotel policy, and contribute to a safe, efficient housekeeping operation while upholding Accor's Heartist culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in housekeeping or hotel environment.
• Fluent English in verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, corridors and storage areas to the required standard.
• Replenish guest supplies and advertising materials in rooms.
• Report lost property and faulty equipment following procedures.
• Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
• Handle guest laundry in line with hotel policy.
• Use cleaning equipment with care and report any defects as per procedures.
• Maintain department equipment to a high standard and assist with stocktaking.
• Ensure security of keys and guest rooms by following security procedures.
• Use and store cleaning agents safely per health and safety regulations.

Job Description

• Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard.
• Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
• Report any lost property following correct procedures.
• Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
• Ensure guest laundry is handled in line with Hotel policy.
• Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual.
• Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
• Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
• Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor.
• Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health
  and safety regulations and manufacturers’ instructions.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in a similar environmentpreferred.
• Verbally fluent in English.
