Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a hands-on Venue Manager for Sokyo to lead the entire venue operation in partnership with the Executive Chef. You will drive product excellence, service delivery and a vibrant guest experience in a premier dining environment.

Your role focuses on operational leadership, team development, cost control and guest satisfaction across a busy, 24/7 venue, with opportunities for career growth and engagement with The Star values.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop large teams including succession planning, retention and growth strategies.
• Planning and resourcing people and products, performance management, controlling labour costs and operating expenses.
• Experience in managing high-end award-winning restaurants, bars, or outlets.

As the Venue Manager you will be reporting to the F&B Operations Manager and responsible for the entire venue operation of Sokyo in partnership with the Executive Chef, ensuing a positive and exciting environment where flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount.

Our hub for all mega sporting events. All your pub favourites, bar and entertainment lineups weekly, and over 50 LCD TVS.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can leverage your expertise in operational management and team leadership to deliver a thrilling new era for Sports Bar.

• Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop large teams including succession planning, retention, and growth strategies
• Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management, controlling labour costs and operating expenses
• Experience in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change
• Experience in managing high-end award-winning restaurants, bars, or outlet
• Flexible availability to meet the demands of a 24/7 business
