Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Chinchilla seeks a proactive Venue Manager to lead a skilled team at the Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre. You will recruit, develop and coach staff, work with the leadership team and Council, and drive sales, financial performance and risk management.

You will ensure outstanding customer service and a culture of innovation while maintaining facilities to the highest standards and delivering community-focused programs for all ages and abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a similar leisure/ aquatic facility
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus
• Experience with budgeting and risk management is desirable
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and lead a skilled and passionate team
• Engage with leadership, stakeholders and Council to execute plans
