Job summary

Flaminia, Accor’s newly opened Italian seafood restaurant at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, seeks engaging venue hosts with solid hospitality experience to front our team. High-volume, high-end dining relies on charismatic first impressions to set the tone for memorable guest journeys.

The role requires 2+ years in upscale hosting, strong reservations skills with SevenRooms, RSA certification, and availability for evenings, weekends, and events in Sydney’s Circular Quay area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in upscale restaurant hosting or front-of-house roles with reservation familiarity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and composure in fast-paced settings
• RSA certificate and professional appearance alignment with Accor Heartist values

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage reservations via SevenRooms, and seat parties efficiently while building rapport.
• Coordinate table turns, communicate wait times and assist floor team during peaks.
• Greet guests, present menus, offer recommendations on wine list and seafood specials, and handle orders with dietary needs.
• Provide polished table service, including wine pours and dish presentation in a high-end dining environment.
• Maintain venue standards during peak service and ensure seamless guest experiences.

Purpose

Flaminia, the newly opened Italian seafood restaurant by award-winning Chef Giovanni Pilu at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, seeks engaging Venue Hosts with solid restaurant experience to front our recently opened team at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour. High-volume high-end dining relies on charismatic first impressions to set the tone for memorable guest journeys.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage reservations via SevenRooms, and seat parties efficiently while building rapport and gauging preferences.
• Coordinate table turns, communicate wait times, assist floor team during peaks, and resolve initial guest needs to ensure smooth service flow.
• Greet guests, present menus, offer personalised recommendations on our Italian-focused wine list and seafood specials, and handle orders with attention to dietary needs.
• Provide polished table service, including wine pours, dish presentation, and proactive check-backs in a high-end dining environment.
• Maintain venue standards during peak service, support team coordination, and ensure seamless guest experiences.

Skills And Experience

• 2+ years in upscale restaurant hosting or front-of-house roles, with strong reservation system familiarity, exceptional people skills, and composure in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in fast-paced settings, and availability for evenings, weekends, and events.
• RSA certificate, professional appearance, and alignment with Accor Heartist values
