Job summary

Century Venues, a Sydney-based group, invites applications for a Venue Booking Agent to source and secure events for The Concourse across classical, jazz, contemporary and corporate programming. Reporting to the Head of Bookings, you will manage enquiries, quote terms, and coordinate bookings with promoters, producers and internal teams to maximise venue utilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in venue programming or event bookings.
• Strong negotiation and commercial decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of the Australian music and entertainment industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify and secure suitable events for The Concourse.
• Manage new event enquiries from initial enquiry through to contracting and event delivery.
• Quote and negotiate commercial terms with promoters, producers and hirers.
• Identify opportunities across theatre, comedy, cabaret, music and business events.
• Work towards venue occupancy, utilisation and revenue targets.
• Manage the venue calendar and ensure bookings progress with workflows.
• Build and maintain relationships with promoters, producers, agents, hirers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to interpret event requirements.
• Stay informed about industry activity and competitor venues.
