Job summary

Mastermyne is seeking experienced Ventilation Supervisors to lead crews at Centurion, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The role requires underground coal experience, ventilation expertise, and supervisory certification, plus regular travel to site from Mackay area.

Camp and meals are provided, with KPI bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package as part of The Mastermyne Way. You will support on-ground operations and drive high‑quality workmanship while keeping safety paramount.

Qualifications

• Underground coal experience is essential.
• Experience in ventilation works.
• Supervisory certification G1, G8, G9 and G2.
• Chemical application / pumping experience is highly desirable.
• Underground Standard 11.
• Current QLD Coal Health Assessment.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site crews and ensure safety, productivity and quality workmanship.
• Drive high‑quality workmanship while maintaining compliance standards.
• Demonstrate reliability and strong leadership to support the team on the ground.

As a Supervisor, you will be recognised for your reliability, strong commitment to safety, and proactive approach to leadership. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed, support your team on the ground, and drive high-quality workmanship while maintaining productivity and compliance standards.

Minimum skills and experience required are:

• Demonstrated Underground Coal experience is essential, this is not an entry-level position;
• Proven experience in Ventilation works;
• Supervisory certification G1, G8, G9 and G2
• Chemical application / pumping experience - Highly desirable;
• Underground Standard 11;
• Current QLD Coal Health Assessment;
• Valid Driver's Licence;
• Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations
