Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Vendor Business Manager (VBM) – Oracle to own the end-to-end Oracle strategy and partner relationships across our ANZ channel network. Drive cloud, database, infrastructure and application solutions adoption with reseller and MSP communities.

You will coordinate marketing initiatives, recruitment, enablement, and growth programs, while building a healthy pipeline and executing vendor-funded incentives to boost revenue. Hybrid work environment in Australia.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in channel sales, vendor management, business development, or cloud/software sales.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise software, and subscription-based business models.
  • Experience working with Oracle solutions, cloud platforms, or related enterprise technology vendors is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across vendors, partners, and internal teams.
  • Excellent analytical, forecasting, and commercial decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Established reseller, channel partner, or cloud ecosystem relationships within the ANZ market preferred.
  • Strong product, licensing, and solution knowledge across enterprise technology environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business plan aligned with Oracle's strategic objectives and Ingram Micro's growth ambitions.
  • Drive Oracle Cloud, Database, Infrastructure, and Application solution adoption across reseller, MSP, and specialist partner communities.

  • Develop and manage partner recruitment, enablement, certification, and growth programs.
  • Act as the key liaison between Oracle, Ingram Micro sales teams, and channel partners to drive alignment and execution.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive opportunity identification, forecasting, and partner engagement.
  • Drive vendor-funded programs, incentives, promotions, and rebate initiatives to increase partner participation and revenue growth.
  • Stay up to date with Oracle technologies, cloud innovations, licensing models, and market trends to support competitive positioning.
  • Support partners with go-to-market strategies, business planning, and solution positioning to maximize customer outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-vendor collaboration and adjacent technology solutions to enhance the overall partner value proposition.
  • Monitor business performance against revenue, profitability, and market share objectives and implement corrective actions where required.

About the role:

The Vendor Business Manager (VBM) - Oracle serves as a trusted advisor to the Ingram Micro partner ecosystem, owning the end-to-end Oracle strategy and vendor relationship while driving the growth of Oracle cloud, database, infrastructure, and applications solutions across our channel network. Through strategic partner engagement, enablement initiatives, and go-to-market execution, the VBM is accountable for accelerating Oracle's market presence, increasing partner adoption, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Role responsibilities
  • Developing and executing a business plan aligned with Oracle's strategic objectives and Ingram Micro's growth ambitions

What you'll bring:
