Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Vehicle Return Agent / Outdoor Customer Service Representative at Melbourne Airport. This full-time role involves greeting customers, assisting with the return process, and maintaining vehicle readiness. Training is provided to help you reach your potential.

You’ll assess vehicle condition, log fuel and mileage, and input data using handheld devices. A valid driver’s licence and prior customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full and valid driver’s licence required.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computer systems to enter rental information.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and expedite the rental car return process.
• Assess vehicles for new damages and report per procedures.
• Review gas levels and vehicle odometer; enter details in handheld devices.
• Clean and prepare vehicles according to company standards.

Vehicle Return Agent / Outdoor Customer Service Representative (Fulltime)

We are looking for help at Melbourne Airport to serve our valued customers. This opportunity in what we call a 'Return Agent' capacity will be for an ongoing Fulltime role.

About the Role

As aReturn Agentyouarethe first point of contact atour operations.This position isresponsible for greeting ourcustomer upon their arrival at ourrentallocation.In this position you will assist with thecheck-inof therenter’svehicle and vehicle details.

What you’ll do

• Great customer in a friendly manner and help expedite the rental car return process to help get customers on their way
• Assess vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per ABG’s vehicle damage procedure
• Review returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometers while accurately inputting them into our hand held devices when needed
• Clean and prepare vehicles as per company standards

What we’re looking for

• Applicants must have a full and valid driver’s licence
• This is a full-time position that requires opened availability to work days, weekends, nights, etc (as this is a permanent role, we won’t be able to consider Working Holiday Visa Holders at this stage unfortunately)
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or similar roles
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information
