ARC Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Estimator to join our busy repair centre. You will assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate quotes and work closely with insurers to ensure efficient, cost-effective repairs from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive or Vehicle Estimator, or a qualified Panel Beater seeking a change.
• Strong knowledge of repair methods, vehicle parts and labour costing.
• Experience working with insurers and repair approvals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles in person and via photos/images.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and determine repair methods.
• Liaise with insurance assessors and manage approvals.
• Ensure labour times, repair costs and parts are viable.
• Order parts and coordinate approved bookings; review active repairs.
• Maintain detailed records in internal systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers, insurers, suppliers and workshop teams.
