Job summary

Carlingford Prestige Smash Repairs, based in North Rocks, NSW, seeks a skilled Vehicle Estimator to assess damage, prepare precise repair estimates, and liaise with clients and insurers. This full-time role supports the Senior Estimator and the workshop team.

You will inspect vehicles, prepare quotes, source parts, communicate clearly with customers, and help manage timelines and bookings. The position requires attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Estimator.
• Experience with IBodyShop and Audanet quoting programs.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately assess damage and prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, insurance assessors, and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborate effectively with workshop team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations, prioritizing work correctly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly and accurately assess the extent of damage to all vehicle components
• Prepare detailed and competitive repair estimates
• Quote and ordering of competitively sourced parts and managing additional damage and timelines
• Communicate professionally with customers to explain damage assessments and repair options
• Liaise with insurance companies and assessors regarding claim processes and estimate approvals
• Maintain accurate and organised documentation of all estimates and job records
• Collaborate with workshop to schedule repairs and manage workload priorities
• Convert private estimators in to repair bookings

Carlingford Prestige Smash Repairs is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis at our North Rocks, NSW location. As a Vehicle Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and liaising with clients and insurance companies. This position is fundamental to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our repair workflow, directly impacting both our reputation and financial performance.
