Job summary

Loreto Toorak invites applications from experienced VCE Mathematics Teachers for a full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, 2027. Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the successful candidate will foster students' understanding, confidence and appreciation of Mathematics through inquiry-based teaching that connects concepts to real-world applications.

The role includes teaching Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods alongside Mathematics classes across other year levels.

Qualifications

• Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching).
• Demonstrated experience teaching Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods is essential.
• Experience teaching Units 3 & 4 Specialist Mathematics is highly desirable.
• Understanding of student learning strategies and styles.
• Excellent communication with a range of audiences.
• Collaborative approach to planning and delivering curriculum.

Responsibilities
