Loreto Toorak invites applications from an experienced VCE English teacher for a full-time, ongoing role commencing in Term 1, 2027. You will report to the Head of Faculty and inspire students to engage with language, literature and diverse perspectives with confidence and critical insight.

The role involves teaching VCE English and other English classes across year levels, working with colleagues to deliver a high-quality curriculum, and contributing to a supportive school community that values

Formación

• Current Teaching Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Demonstrated experience teaching VCE English is essential.
• Experience teaching Literature and/or Religious Education is desirable.
• Understanding and applying student learning strategies and styles.
• Excellent communication skills across audiences.
• Collaborative approach to curriculum planning with colleagues.
• Proven ability to build relationships with students, staff and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Teach VCE English and other English classes as required.
• Foster intellectual curiosity and critical insight in students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and okay to innovate.
