Job summary

Aussie Locums seeks an experienced Vascular Sonographer for two NSW South Coast sites Nowra and Milton. You will manage your own patient list, perform carotid and limb vascular studies, and report findings within an established workflow.

Join a dedicated vascular team with Siemens equipment (including a Sequoia) and structured supervision to support your development, whether you are already experienced or building vascular expertise. Working hours are weekdays, with a predictable schedule.

Qualifications

• Current ASAR accreditation and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Vascular ultrasound experience, or appropriate foundations with commitment to developing vascular expertise.
• Confidence working in a specialist clinical environment and independently managing your own patient list.

Responsibilities

• Perform carotid ultrasound, lower limb arterial and venous studies, and bilateral/unilateral examinations.
• Manage your own patient list and dictate findings within an established reporting workflow.
• Work across Nowra and Milton with a roughly 3:2 site split and participate in the dedicated vascular caseload.

Vascular Sonographer for Nowra Vascular Lab

Seeking an experienced Sonographer with advanced vascular skills or a trainee sonographer with a keen interest in Vascular ultrasound.

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Vascular Sonographer to join an established specialist vascular service on the NSW South Coast, working across Nowra and Milton. Already experienced in vascular? Great. Still developing your skills but genuinely want to specialise? We would like to hear from you too. Or Do you want a trainee position?

The role:

You will work across two specialist locations, with an anticipated split of approximately three days at one site and two days at the other. Managing your own patient list, you will generally see around 12-14 patients per day, with approximately 30 minutes allocated per appointment. The dedicated vascular caseload includes carotid ultrasound, lower limb arterial studies, lower limb venous studies, and bilateral and unilateral examinations. You will complete the relevant clinical worksheets and dictate findings within an established reporting workflow.
