Job summary

Private Practice in Geelong, Victoria, seeks an experienced vascular sonographer to join a dedicated vascular ultrasound clinic working with two vascular surgeons.

The role offers either full-time or part-time schedules, a high remuneration above award, and training to expand into intra-procedural vascular imaging. On-site parking and supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of sonography experience.
• Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to upskill with Vascular Surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images and measurements.
• Prepare detailed clinically relevant reports.
• Communicate with patients in a calm, reassuring manner.

We are a newly opened Vascular Surgery with a dedicated ultrasound clinic. Our two Vascular Surgeons are already established in the Geelong and Melbourne area.

We would like an experienced vascular sonographer to join our growing and expanding ultrasound services. We have special interests in intra-procedural vascular ultrasound.

About you

This is a newly created role within our practice, and we are seeking either one full-time sonographer or two part-time sonographers to join our team. While previous vascular laboratory experience is preferred, it is not essential. Your minimum one year of sonography experience, combined with a proactive, positive, and patient-focused approach, will ensure our patients feel supported throughout their medical journey.

You will have a genuine interest in working closely with Vascular Surgeons and will be upskilled as you assist them in their clinical work. We are looking for someone who is seeking a longer term opportunity and the chance to grow with the practice.

Hours

Full Time

Monday 8:30am till 5:00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Tuesday to Friday 9:00am till 5:00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)

OR

Part time - job share

Two or three days per week, with the above hours. Equalling to a full time equivalent role.

Pay rate

$85.00 to $100.00 per hour plus super
