Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Vascular Sonographer with experience in operating theatre scanning, neonatal and adult ICU vascular imaging, and inpatient/outpatient vascular assessment. The permanent part-time role offers 8 hours per week in the Vascular Ultrasound Unit.
You should hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent, with a postgraduate qualification and current AHPRA registration; EPA Licence or ASAR accreditation is required.
Vascular Sonographer required with experience in a wide range of examinations including scanning in the operating theatre, have experience in acute renal transplant scanning, neonatal and adult intensive care scanning, and scanning inpatient and outpatient vascular patients.

What You'll Be Doing: To ensure the efficiency of the department is maintained, in association with departmental SSOs (if available), daily completion of room stock take is to be performed, including examination room preparation, maintenance of consumables, and assistance for manual handling tasks. The position must participate with patient throughput, patient care and patient scheduling. Included within this definition is overall Quality Assurance, organisation, activities and adherence to the standards within the Vascular Ultrasound Unit; participating in implementation of existing and new techniques, adherence to protocols, scheduling and training and ensuring all resources are used in the most effective manner.
