Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a UX & Content Designer to join the Information Technology team on a 2-year max-term contract. You’ll shape and enhance the Global Portal, BDO’s client collaboration platform, through user research, design and content strategy.

Based in Australia across Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney, you’ll work with product and technology stakeholders to deliver accessible digital experiences that help BDO teams and clients collaborate effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in UX Design, Content Design, Service Design, or similar roles.
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows or journey maps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing and feedback analysis.
• Identify user needs, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain user personas, journey maps and experience artefacts, and use UX audits, feedback and behavioural insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and experience concepts.
• Improve content, navigation, onboarding resources and support experiences across the platform.
• Enhance information architecture to improve usability and content discoverability.
• Partner with product, technology and business stakeholders to deliver user-centred solutions.
• Analyse user feedback and behavioural data to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion accessibility, usability and best-practice UX and content design principles.
• Contribute Australian user insights to local and global platform initiatives.
