Wide Bay Caravans in Tinana, Maryborough QLD is seeking a part-time sales consultant to look after customers from first enquiry to handover, and to keep our used stock moving. You’ll be friendly, organised and capable of presenting vans to meet buyers’ travel needs.

Expect 30 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8am–4pm) with an opportunity to move to full-time for the right person. Commission on all van sales is available and no two days are the same.

Formación

• Experience in big-ticket retail or vehicle sales is required.
• Ability to use CRM systems and online listings.
• Knowledge of caravans, towing, 12V and solar systems is a plus.
• Current driver's licence and towing capability.

Responsabilidades

• Assist buyers with finance, insurance and extended warranty.
• Coordinate with technicians for pre-delivery service and presentation.

Wide Bay Caravans has been helping Fraser Coast families hit the road since 1972. We're a family-owned dealership with a team of 14, a full workshop, parts and accessories and a reputation built on looking after people long after the sale. Due to the retirement of our stellar sales consultant, we need someone to fill his shoes!

About the Role:

You'll look after customers from the first enquiry to handover day and keep out used stock moving. Day to day, you'll:

• Earn commission on ALL van sales, not just the ones you sell
• 30hr weeks (Mon-Thurs 8am to 4pm) - opportunity to increase to full-time hours for the right candidate
• Help buyers find the right van for how they want to travel
• Appraise consignments, trade-ins and private sales vans and help source quality used stock
• Work with our technicians to get vans pre-delivery serviced and presentation-ready
• Prepare listings, photos and descriptions for our website and online marketplaces
• Help buyers source finance, insurance and extended warranty (where required)
• Run thorough, confident handovers so customers drive away knowing their van
• Keep our marketing girl happy with content to use across our platforms

About You:

• Sales experience is a must! Ideally in caravans, RVs, automotive, boats or another big-ticket retail space
• Knowledge of caravans, towing, 12v and solar systems is a big plus (we'll train the right person)
• You're honest, organised and patient with first-time buyers
• You're comfortable with CRM systems, online listings and paperwork
• Current driver's licence and confident towing and manoeuvring vans in the yard
