Job summary

The Urology Unit at Western Health is seeking an enthusiastic Urologist to join the team on a part‑time fixed term parental leave cover. The role focuses on high‑quality clinical care, supervision of junior staff, and contribution to service planning.

You will lead clinical audits, manage KPIs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centred care across Western Health’s facilities in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of USANZ and current medical registration.
• Experience supervising junior medical staff and contributing to training.
• Strong clinical skills with excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are registered, credentialed and practicing within scope.
• Lead clinical audits and document outcomes and improvement plans.
• Provide leadership and supervision to junior and senior Medical Staff.
• Contribute to service planning, budget and resource requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, outcomes and quality indicators for the unit.
