Job summary

Western Health's Urology Unit in Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic Urologist to deliver high-quality clinical care across the health service. You will supervise junior medical staff, contribute to education, and participate in service planning and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will lead clinical audits, manage performance indicators, and support budget and strategic planning within the unit and organisation.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of USANZ is required.
• Current Australian medical registration with AHPRA.
• Proven supervision and teaching of junior medical staff.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical staff are registered, credentialed and working within scope.
• Ensure clinical audits are conducted and outcomes documented.
• Provide leadership and supervision to junior medical staff.
• Provide leadership and guidance to senior medical staff.
• Conduct annual professional development review meetings with senior staff.
• Assist in service planning, business cases, workforce planning and resource prioritisation.
• Monitor KPIs and quality indicators and report on outcomes.
• Support budget and strategic financial planning in line with Western Health."],
