Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. You will triage, assess and deliver front line nursing care to patients presenting with urgent but non-emergency needs, in collaboration with our Urgent Care Medical Practitioner.

We value patient-centered care, strong communication and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend availability is required, with a supportive induction into Urgent Care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in ED/triage/ICU or similar.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Conduct thorough triage and prioritise care.
• Provide front line nursing care in collaboration with Urgent Care Medical Practitioner.
• Perform hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records for continuity of care.
